we have a 14 node Windows HPC cluster with different types of nodes. 8 nodes have 4x AMD Opteron 6134 with 8 cores each, 4 nodes have 2x Intel Xeon E5630 with 4 cores each and 2 nodes have Nvidia Tesla cards with 2x AMD AMD Opteron 6134 with 8 cores each.
When I run COMSOL Multiphysics jobs on the AMD nodes the HeatMap shows "0 Cores In Use". When I run the same job on the Intel nodes it shows "16 Cores In Use". The same happens when we run our own developed software.
Why shows the HPC Manager only the correct "Cores In Use" for the Intel CPUs and not for the AMD CPUs?
In the List view I get the correct number of cores from every node, but not the correct cores in use. Any idea?
We have Windows HPC Server 2008 R2 SP3 installed on all nodes.
