'You have not enterd a valid product key' error message when I try to reinstall Office 2003 RRS feed

  • The problem is that no screen comes up for me to enter a product code into.  Set up runs, prepares to install and gathers files etc, then the error message comes up.  I have attached the diagnostic report below.  I have removed every Microsoft Office program on my computer. Can anyone help???

  • Hello BrentNZ,

       From your description, during install of Office, you get a Product Key error before you actually enter a Product Key.  

      I am unsure why Dan and Carey sent your thread over to the WGA Office Validation forum since your Office is having the issue during install (before entering a Product Key) the issue is with Installing.

      I recommend posting the issue in one of the Office Newsgroups at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx  or go to http://support.microsoft.com for additional support options.
