Upgraded drive, now backups fail... RRS feed

    with the following error:

    Backup of volume C: to SERVER failed: System.Text.EncoderFallbackException: Unable to translate Unicode character \uD9D8 at index 102 to specified code page.

     

    I have run checkdsk and cleaned out old files.  What else should I do to debug this fellow?

    Client machine is a windows 7 home premium.

    Old drive was a raid set of 250g seagate drives.

    New drive is a 600g raptor single sata drive.

     

    Thanks for any ideas!

    On the windows home server, the event log shows this message:

    Received abort message from Ringmaster with reason 7.
