  • Question 3:

For calculating the difference b/w any two dates, use following link:

I am bit unclear about question 1, please clarify it, as CRM automatically calculates the End Date as you define the Start Date and duration. What you exactly want in question 1?

  • Have just checked it!!!

You are rite, this field doesn't show that much flexibility.

    Workaround:

Create a custom field of list type. Set values of your own choice. Show it on task form. Hide the actualdurationminutes. On onChange event of newly created entity, write javascript to update the end time automaticaly :)...

Hope this resolves your issue ...

  • hi,

Both of these tasks are possible.

You can simply go to customization area --> customize entity --> task --> attributes --> and add your required values to list.

For the remaining task you will have to use javascript. OnLoad of task form you can calculate the value for remaining time using simple formula and show it to that field.

Let me know if you need help to code this all.

  • For Task 2:

    1. In CRM please find Settings tab.
    2. In Settings tab, there will be a sub-area Customization, click it, and
    3. then click Customize Entity. It will bring you cutomizable entities list.
    4. Find and open TASK entity from here.
    5. Click Attributes and then Change its available values.
