off topic - Activation problem - or so I think RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • After wrestling with OneCare Family Safety for a week, I finally got it installed and configured - or so I thought.  In my Windows XP administrator account, the tray icon says that content filtering is on.  I have to assume that this is as it should be.  However, in my Windows User account, the icon says that contact filtering and activity reporting are off.  If this is the true state of affairs, it is very very wrong.

I have to set or activate parental controls on the user account.  Right now, I don't have the faintest idea of how to accomplish this.

    Please advise.

  • Although they share the name, this forum isn't for the Family Safety product, but for the PC security suite - http://onecare.live.com

Support for the OneCare Family Safety product can be found via http://support.live.com and online help via http:/help.live.com

In both cases, select Windows Live OneCare Family Safety from the list of services.
