Import excel into CRM 2011 RRS feed

  • Hi,I want to import an excel file like this,but as the result I get an form where appropriate fields not filled in a correct way.Please help me.Thanks!

    Invoice name
    A0581658878
     
    Date delivered:   14/04/2011   Customer:   ABD LLC

    Product description   Price per unit   Quantity   Extended amount
    exm1   1250   15   18750
    exm2   2500   27   67500
     
            Total amount   86250

  • You need to restructure your excel in columns and rows. 

    CRM is not able to interpret free fields (loose fields on the excel). 

    You need to create column with a header at the top and repeat data if necessary.

    Invoice name date received customer product descr, .... Like that

     

    Or you could create two files, one with the order and one with the orderlines, refering back to the order.

  • Thanks for your reply.As you have told the headers must next to each other for importing.But there are cases when arranging can take a lot of time and it is not convenient during the work.So is there any programm or code which can automaticly arrange the headers?

  • Have a look at Monarch from www.datawatch.com which is designed to take data in all sorts of layouts and make sense of it.
