External drive not getting backed up RRS feed

    Howdy folks

    Added an external (Buffalo) USB hard drive (K: here) to my PC.  Although the C: drive is being backed up automatically to the WHS I cannot command the WHS backup console to find and back up K:.

    Is there something I can do?

    Check and see what file system that external drive uses; if it's FAT32 that's the problem. Only an NTFS drive can be backed up to Windows Home Server.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
