My VLK is not valid? RRS feed

  • Question

  • In 2002 I purchased several Windows XP upgrade licenses from CDW and was issued a VLK key from Microsoft. That key is being identified as being invalid. What is my next step? I still have the authorization and agreement numbers I was issued.

Attached is the relevant information for Windows. Since Office is not part of the problem, I have removed that information.

The current Product Key being used on your system is non-genuine (labeled Invalid Product Key) for one of two reasons:

    - The key was made using a non-Microsoft sanctioned Key Generator

    - The key was reported lost or stolen from the original purchaser.

I recommend contacting your sales point (where you got your volume licensing agreement) to remedy this solution. I hope this helps!
