  • I have received this same message on two separate computers.  One is Dell PC purchased ~3 years ago and the Windows License came with the computer (seen here).  the other I will post separately, but it's running on Bootcamp on a Mac and the Windows License was purchased and installed when I bought my Mac through MacMall.com

    This machine MAY have a problem.
     
    It was manufactured before Win7 was released (according to the BIOS date), but appears to have a Win7 SLIC table.
    This would imply that at some point, a Loader has been used to hack the activation.
     
    However, the Key in use is a System Builder one  - which will ignore the SLIC table - and appears to be properly activated. I was validated on the 30th May - so presumably there was no problem at that time that validation could see.
     
     
    Other than that, it looks OK to me.
