Media Center Internet TV RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I upgraded from XP to Windows 7, I must have incorrectly entered the upgrade key. After 30 days a noticed popped up that said my version was not genuine. At that point Internet TV in Windows Media Center  stopped downloading current content.

I entered the correct code and the notice about being a genuine copy of Windows went away but Internet TV still will not download current content.

My system also will not download and load SP1 properly. I am getting an error message.

My guess is that some of the system records still don't match and this is causing conflicts for my SP1 download and Internet TV content updating.

Any ideas on how I should resolve??

This doesn't sound like a WGA problem - but please post an MGADiag report before we try and direct you to a better forum, just in case....

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
      - **in your own thread**, please

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
