tracked emails not autolinking to account RRS feed

  • Say i have a contact and email in CRM Dynamics associated to an Account. Now i send an email that is automatically tracked in CRM...this is great..it is linking the email to the contact....now my question is why CRM doesn't automatically roll up that email to the account the contact is assigned to...it doesn't make any sense. Perhaps i am missing something?

  • If an email is tracked in CRM and it shows in the activities of a contact then it should show in the parent account. Where in the parent account record are you checking for the email?

    Which version of CRM are you using?
