  • Hello,

MCTS are the good ones to start off.

You can take  a look at the visual studio certifications in this link

    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-vstudio.aspx#tab2

    MCTS 70-511 Windows Development

    MCTS 70-515 Web Development

You can also take a look at MCPD for both Windows and Web Development for which the pre-req are 511/515, ado .net 516 and wcf 70-513

MCAD is out-dated as in this link http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/mcad.aspx#tab2

  • Yes as above the MCAD is no longer running as a qualification and it's all MCTS now.

  • As you are the developer, you should be prepare your way to take Microsoft Certified Professional Developer. it is higher level than MCTS.
