Tiles of trouble

  Recently when i uninstalled an application from  my machine things went wrong

  when I click on any of my tiles being sports weather desktop it brings up the options such as uninstall and does not run the application.

  also when I press Esc to bring up a menu or exit a game it seems to bring me to the start menu

  what the hell do i do
