  • It was unavailable for a while but it is back.  You'll have to open the thread by clicking on the link, the option isn't available when you use the preview drop-down in the forum view.

  • There is a change type option. The option/feature is in the thread view toolbar. You can change a type from Question to Discussion and vice versa. You see this option for the following conditions:

    1) If you are a moderator of a Forum
    2) If you started a new thread (Whether question or discussion type)

  • This has its problems.

    I've had several cases where I - as Moderator - have changed a thread to Question Type to match the forum norms (for those forums) where the only posts that don't get the Question Type are the rare Microsoft Info posts AND then the Original Poster goes in and marks it back!
