Is live mesh Lan aware? RRS feed

    most of the computers im using live mesh on are on teh same lan and could all send files between each other at the full speed the hd is able to send. so im wondering is live mesh routing all the sync's through the internet or is it aware that the pc's are on a lan and communicating directly

    Live Mesh is LAN aware, but it still requires a connection to the Live Desktop and the Live Mesh service. The Live Mesh team is working to enhance the Peer to Peer sync process, so it would be good for you to add your voice on the issue by voting on the suggestions (or filing a new one) as described here:
