Whether CRM 4.0 supports SQL Server Service Pack 3 (SP3) ? RRS feed

  • Can anyone suggest me whether CRM 4.0 supports SQL Server Service Pack 3(SP#) or not?? Have you faced any issues while installing this combination (CRM 4.0 with SP3)?

    Browsed regarding this, i cudnt find any clues on that. kindly share your view about this issue.

  • I assume you are talking about SQL Server 2005... I never get problem using CRM 4.0 on it

    I haven't heard anything negative about that. CRM 4 is supported on SQL 2005 SP2 or later.

  • thanks for your response. i too have seen that link, but they didnt specifically state about SP3's support.

    But I just wanted to know is there any impact after the migration.. if it has any imapact, kindly specify what are those and the needed steps to overcome those issues.

    If u have any experience in the installation of CRM 4.0 with SQLSERVER SP3, kindly share the problems that are faced by you during the migration.

  • my platform with multiple costumers and languages is running fine on sql2005 SP3. I had migrations and upgrades on it aswell, no problem.
