    First, visit this page http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/ and click the Validate Windows button in the upper right to install the latest version of the WGA Validations (yours is out-of-date), then restart.

    Next, download the standalone installer for the WGA Notifications utility here:  http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=69498d.  Once installed, then click Start>Run, type wgatray.exe /b, click OK, then restart.

    Your WGA files should be up-to-date and re-synched.
