Notification of Microsoft Office being not genuine RRS feed

  • Question

  • For a number of weeks now I have received a pop-up stating that 'This copy of Microsoft Office is not genuine'. I purchased the computer and all the rest of the products 30 months ago from a reputable dealer, Media MKT in Cartegana, Spain. When I sign on, I receive a notice stating that this product is licensed to 'Alex. HC Data, (followed by the number) 54185-640-0000025-17075.' I am even receiving the offer to download Office Live updates, as recently as 22 October 2009. I have changed nothing since I purchased the system and yet after 30 month successful usage, find that I am no longer legal. Please explain.
