Question
-
Ok so I see all the same questions asked but have not found a fix. I am getting the stupid SQL Reporting issues where it fails
Setup failed to validate specified Reporting Services Report Server http://win-virtual1/reportserver. Error: Unknown exception thrown by report server
Client found response content type of '', but expected 'text/xml'.
The request failed with an empty response. So I have verified that SQL Reporting is working but cant for the life of me get past this point
Please Please Help

Hi Rayatcal,
you need make sure you have added the user ids and machines to he Activie Directory groups, if you do not have Domain Admin access. If you SSRS and SQL are working indpendently, then usually that's where the issues lie.

Are you using a different server than your database server? What is the SQL Version on reporting server?

Hi,
It seems like that there is another website hosted in IIS is using port 80, i would suggest you to try changing the report server port i.e. port 88 or 92 etc and then again try pass the report server url in CRM.
