Look on the bottom, or inside the battery compartment for a COA sticker that displays the version of windows installed on your computer and a product key. Note that key (do not post it or share it), and in windows navigate to the systems properties page by pressing pause and win keys at the same time or through the control panel. Scroll to the bottom, click on change product key, and attempt to activate by phone. You must activate by phone in this situation.
To manually activate by phone type SLUI 4 in the search box of the start menu, press enter, select your country or region, dial the number but do not press any menu options, wait for a real person to answer (this will speed up the process). The technician will help you activate by phone using your COA key. I advise you record that key for future use, the sticker is subject to wear and tear.
