  • Hi Jim, this fix ( 944175 ) fixed it !! All else failed including LOC Help which suggested uninstall and reinstall, which I did including using the cleanup tool. Thanks so much for your help , Regards, Brian.

  • When I next started the computer , once again LOC failed to show in the Security Centre except for the Firewall. Does LOC conflict with PC Tools Spyware Doctor with Antivirus ? Up until 2.5 update they seemed to get along just fine ! I am thinking perhaps thats the problem. Can you advise please ? Thanks, Brian.

  • Spyware Doctor could be conflicting with One Care. It is generally not a good idea to have two antivirus programs installed on a computer. Uninstalling Spyware Doctor Antivirus very well may resolve the issue.

  • My recommendation will be stronger than Jim's. :-)

Yes, remove Spyware Doctor from the PC as you should *never* have multiple antivirus program installed or you will usually encounter performance problems or system instability.
