Try accessing your server from outside your local network.  (Some routers have issues when done from inside your LAN.)

You can post your website address here if you like.  I'll see if I can view the logon page.

Are you trying http://server (local connection) or http://server.homeserver.com (internet connection)?

I can ping you connection at http:\\tikra.homeserver.com (it resolves to the IP adres 85.146.25.237) but have no access to your WHS homepage.

You can check if your homepage is available from your internal network: try "http:\\{servername}, where {servername} is the name of your Home Server as showing in your local network?

It is possible that WHS was unable to configure your router. Please check if your router is configured to forward port 80, 443 and 4125 to the internal IP-adress of your homeserver?

If your port forwarding is OK there is a possibility that your provider is blocking port 80. You could then check with your provider on this,

    - Theo.

  • I checked on WHS and configuring, it still gives two mistakes, but my router is PNP compatible and finished all tests positive (with regard to forwarding etc...) tested this thru microsoft testing site ....

Just because it said it worked doesn't mean it did.  Please go to Shields Up!, do a custom port scan for 80, 443, and 4125, then post the results back here.

  • Is your router directly attached to the Internet, or is there a separate DSL modem involved?

  • Hey Tikra. First of all:Please dont get frustrated.I know its easy to say,but its actually very importent. You only start making bad jugdement decitions, and probobly make things worse.I know, ive been there done that, hehe. Second:I will try to reach youre tikra.homeserver.com on a regular basis next day or two whiile you keep youre spirit up and work on the problem. Its probobly some firewall issue or router "thing" youve missed. I will also check out these issues myself,as i also have the same problem as you do,lol. Its no big deal, and i guess its fixed during the day or evening, depending on where you live.Time difference and all that.Anyway...good luck.I hope i soon see youre website up and running.=)))
