SyncToyCmd does not accept a blank password? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I like to have my PC with a blank password.  Not that I have no password assigned, but the password I have assigned is blank.

Anyways, I could not create a scheduled task in windows with a blank password.
Maybe this is more of a windows problem than SyncToyCmd, but that's what I was trying to schedule.

If I change my password to something non-blank, I was able to successfully create a SyncToyCmd scheduled task.
    And everything works fine.

I just found it annoying I couldn't just have a blank password.

    Anyone else notice this?

  • Hi -

Sorry I do not have the answer to this - you should post this to the appropriate forum on Task Scheduler.
