Office 2K3 will not accept Product Key RRS feed

  • Question

  • I purchased MS Office 2K3 as part of the Home Use Program.  When I try to install, I get an error message indicating my key is invalid.  I am installing on a brand new notebook w/validated software (I am pretty sure) since I was able to upgrade to IE 7.0 last night.

I ran the tool mentioned in other posts.  Here is the output:

What is needed to either correct the problem to allow install with current key or get another key?

    thanks,

  • Hi LanMan,

Are you still having issues with your Office installation?  You are correct, your copy of Windows did validate as genuine.  In reviewing your diagnostic output, it shows that no Office products are installed.

    Please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Michelle
