Microsoft CRM 2011 on Window Server 2012 Problem Installing Langauge pack for French RRS feed

    Hi All

         I have successfully installed CRM Server 2011 on ws2012 box using the Full Installation package provided with Update Roll Up 6 but I am getting error when I try to install Language Pack for French using GA installation pack , even I tried to download language pack full install from Microsoft but no success. Can anyone suggest how to install Language packs for this Configuration.

    Hi,

    CRM 2011 is only compatible with Rollup 13 and higher updates on Windows Server 2012. The lower rollups (such as 6, which you have) may have multiple problems, such as what you have encountered. First, install the latest updates and then try installing language pack to see if the problem resolves. If not, then call back to find a solution.

    Payman is correct. CRM installation on WS2012 is supported from UR 13 and later rollups.

    In addition to the CRM installation package you will also need SHS (Self Healing Setup). Below is a post by the support team that would be helpful in your installation

    Hi Mamatha  I have applied the SHS , actually there is another way you can install on ws2012 instead of downloading SHS manually, just install the WIF from server manager and then enable Microsoft updates for other Products in windows update settings then it will automatically download SHS for you and continue with install. I was able to install set up successfully only problem was to install language pack for French from previous version like GA installation
