weird crm for outlook behavior? RRS feed

  • Hello - I'm developing a CRM system with another developer.  We're currently testing and he's using CRM integrated into Outlook.   The email service in the plugin auto-generates and sends an email using the other developer's email address as the From address.

    The other developer is saying that the email service won't send the auto-generated email unless his Outlook with CRM integration is open.  This seems kind of quirky.  Is this true?  If so then is there a setting that can be used to override this behavior?

  • If you don't have email Router server then all your will be sent out through outlook and MUST have outlook client installed. You can write C# or VB script to trigger email using "using System.Net.Mail;"
