Can not change upload file size to anything greater than 2GB on WHS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Windows Home server does not appear to allow the upload of files any larger than 2 GB, thies is somewhat of a hinderance when home movies can easially exceed 4 GB
is there anyone who has a work around or someone who knows whaere to change this limitation?

  • I believe this is a limit of the IIS server used in WHS
This also seems to indicate a browser limitation

I would try using the Webfolders addin, maybe that will work

  • Hi,

Where do you have this problem. As mentioned, there is an initial 2GB file size limit on uploading to the server from the Internet. However, there is no such limit on internal transfers, say from a Client to the Server. I have multiple DVD's copied over to my production Server.
