  • Hi

I have a question regarding IFD Deployemnt .

1 ) What Type of Certificate do I need to do a IFD Deployment for crm 2011. Is it a general SSL Certificate (Wild Card)

    2) Does the CRM Server needs to sit outside the firewall or if it is behind the firewall and we allow the Port 443 will it work ?

    3) If I am using the Microsoft GP connector to Sync with an onpremis GP system is there any modifications to be done to the GP server as well ?

    Regards,

    Saxons

Yes a wild card certificate (*.domain.com)

Opening the specific port would suffice. Note you will also need to open the port on the machine where you have installed ADFS. The following url should also be accessible

    dev.domain.com

    org.domain.com

    sts1.domain.com

    auth.domain.com

I have not used GP connector before and so cannot comment on that.
