CWA and PIC causes security alert. Anyway to fix? RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I have PIC contacts and log into CWA, I get the typical warning that I'm about to load both secure and nonsecure items.  The nonsecure items are clearly the icons for PIC contacts.

Can anything be done to eliminate this?

For reference the alert (from IE) says:
    Title: Security Information
This page contains both secure and nonsecure items.
Do you want to display the nonsecure items?

  • Nothing yet, but I reported this one as a bug a few weeks ago. Seems to only happen for PIC contacts through AOL, right? Yahoo and MSN contacts don't generate this for me.

  • I had not tested for which specific PIC was affected.  Any word from MSFT on a fix/workaround/something?
