  • Question

  • Hello.

Lightning struck somwhere and onboard lan controler aparrently got damaged, so I decided to buy new motheboard, cos mine was once allready changed due warranty and now its run out so had no choice but to buy knew one. Original was asus P5B Deluxe, aftef warranty repair I recieved another motherboard, not the same model, similar with nforce chipset. I reinstalled windows, because previusly windows decied not boot, I reactivaed with same key no problems. Now I have gigabyte EP43-UDL3, because previus with nforce chipsed made my 2TB samsung HDD only half the size, even after driver and bios updated it did not fully utilize my 2TB hdd. Althouth it could not be problem for onboard LAN controller, just to buy lan card but that board has only 1 pci slot and it is allready full with my audigy 2 zs sound card. Thats the history...

I changed motherboard, windows started normaly, just now it says I have 3 days to reactivate my copy of windows and it says my copy is allready in use. Here is paste from your utility.

  • I tried to use by phone activation... I cant get past dialing first three numbers. I live in Latvia GMT+2hours  and phone it say I should use is "371 760 5004", after 371 from cabled phone not mobile it stops to respond. tried to use without 371, because it is country code, but the phone consists only of seven digits, our country nowdays use 8 digit numbers for all phone services - mobile and cable. So I looked up a knew phones  from microsoft in my native language - 80200920 or +371 67852112. Now is half past midnight, I'll wait for 8 in a morning cos it says they operate from 08 00 - 20 00. I'll let you know then...

  • Thank you. I used activisation by phone and it worked out. Just one thing bugs me what that OEM_COA_NSLP means, how that differs from OEM_COA_SLP?

The OEM_COA_NSLP is an indicator that the Key used is a System Builder disk, rather than a Large-Manufacturer's recovery disk.
If I understand it right, the designation is complicated by the fact that 'Free Upgrade' disks/Keys also fall into this route.
