  • Hello,

Your Windoiws XP Pro is Non-Genuine.  It is a Volume License Key that was leaked to the internet (do a search for the last 15 digits of the product key listed in your Diagnostic Report ...X7W2W-7R3XT-DVRPQ...you will see over 10 pages of sites that have the key listed...this is know as a Widely Leaked Key). In addition, the key was never created or released by Microsoft.

However, your computer may be licensed to run some version of Windows. The answeres to Dan's questions will tell us if it is or not.

    Thank you,
    Darin MS

  • Hello vuhongson11206,

Please look on the computer itself, in the documentation you received with the computer or with your retail purchase of Windows to see if you have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).  If you have one, tell us about the COA.  Tell us:

    1.  What edition of Windows XP is it for, Home, Pro, or Media Center, or another version of Windows?

    2.  Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?

    3.  Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering?

    4.  DO NOT post the Product Key that may be printed on the CoA.

    5.  The CoA for retail packaged product is on the boxtop of the pretty retail box.

Not sure what to look for?  See this page for reference:  http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/en/coa.mspx
