I have tried calling the phone activation number and am in an endless loop getting nowhere with them.I typed the product key from underneath my acer aspire 5610 laptop to no avail...
Vista has worked perfectly up to this point... 2 or 3 years I would guess....

It looks like you may have been subject to a virus attack recently? - the two MisMatch files are common targets for browser attacks.I suggest that you first run a good anti-virus product over the machine (what is your installed AV?)
Then download and install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (www.malwarebytes.org) update it and run it in Quick Scan mode to see what it picks up - if anything significant, run a Full scan in Safe ModeOnce you've done that, Run the System File Checker:-click on Starttype CMD.EXE in the Search box, and wait for the file to be found - right-click on it, and select Run as Administrator.At the prompt, typeSFC /SCANNOWand hit the Enter keyThe scanner will start, and hopefully repair any file problems.Reboot, and then run MGADiag again, and post the report back here.Good Luck
