Flight Simulator X on Windows 10

    Question

  • I have installed FS-X on my desktop, running under Windows 10.  It seems to have installed OK, and from the end point of the installation I can operate it seemingly OK.  But I can't create a desktop icon shortcut with which to open it up later on, and I can't restart the program any more.  When I go to the Windows icon in the taskbar, bring up the list of software -- including FS-X -- and click on it to try to open it up, the only options that show are to uninstall it or change it.  When I try to change it, it just send me back to reinstall it.  After finishing that reinstallation, I still can't use it.  Does it not operate under Windows 10 at all, or are there some "fixes" that allow proper use of FS-X?

    Thanks, jerrygeo40
