I am looking at a scenario at the moment for integrating OCS into an environment where we will deploy a new AD however this domain will NOT contain the email servers.
for the sake of this exercise we will call them: emails servers will be in domain email.dns NOT running windows or Exchange OCS will be deployed to internal.dns running AD dmz will be deployed to dmz.dns running AD
What i would like to achieve: deploy OCS 2007 R2 with - A/V Conferencing - Live meeting - Application Sharing - Presence services
I have no access to the EMAIL servers and they are not running exchange or windows. I have basic presence working now however i wish to have outlook integration working also.
OCS Users will have user accounts (which will also be their windows logins) user@internal.dns with their email accounts being user@email.dns
Is this possible to achieve ? and can somebody point me in the right direction for getting there?
