re the Microsoft Email Focus on v2: Help and Support " for UK and Europe" RRS feed

  • Just a warning having read the Email I decided to test the feature


    it mentions "but in v2, we’ve decided to bring automation of our suggested repairs to our local help"


    when I went to help and tested help with firewall & subcriptions

    It suggested I had a date problem (when In reality I had not)


    having clicked it

    it changed date to 11 march 2007 ! 11/03/2007  not 03/11/2007 


    i.e american -> uk date format incorrectly checked


    I reported this to Microsoft

    as also it said my subscription had expired did I want to buy it etc when I found the bug on the 1st November when it became the 11th of jan


    I am told it will be fixed in general release but knowing it will happen may save someone falling down the same hole as I did
