Power outage now Win 7 is not genuine - cant use recovery due to replacement motherboard

Question
-
I bought a new HP Pavilion 3 years ago, ordered online. Last year something happened, i forget what, and I got the 'not genuine' error when I restarted the computer. I had to order recovery dvds from HP because my recovery partition was somehow corrupted by whatever it was that happened to the computer. It fixed the problem. Last month the motherboard died and I replaced it myself. I had no problems until we had a power outage the other night. Now its giving me the 'not genuine' error but I cant recover because the motherboard and Bios are new. Here is the MGADT What can I do?

Unfortunately, the original OEM SLP license for Windows 7 Professional is permanently tied to the original HP motherboard. It cannot be activated on a non-HP motherboard. You will need to purchase a conventional full retail version of Windows 7 and perform a "clean install".
