Does the use of this feature mean that Departments are totally separated (with their own security settings, progress update methods, etc.)? If so, sounds like we could have multiple instances within the same instance.

Departments are basically just visual filters for data, but don't implement full security.

I suspected this answer, but was hopeful that the feature allowed more usage of the department setting. Thank you for the reply.
