Change of Company/Contact owner RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have a list of companies in CRM which are owned by a user who has now left. We would like to change the ownership of those records to reflect the new owner. Import/Export doesn't seem to work with lookup attributes so I was going to perform the process manually (as there are not too many companies affected). However, if I change the ownership of the company from User A to User B, all contacts attached to that company change ownership to User B regardless of who actually owns them. Am I just doing something wrong here? Is there some other method I'm supposed to use?
