Windows Live OneCare purchased in the US wont activate outside the US!! RRS feed

    I purchased a new laptop and OneCare 1 year subscription while on holidays in the US in June. I am now back in Australia with the free trial about to expire and I am unable to activate the 1 year subscription I was sold because I am located outside the US. What can I do to fix this problem? - David

  • Hello David, the issue may be caused by the language settings in Internet Explorer. To resolve the issue open Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>General>Languages>Add. Add English ( Australia ) and you should be able to activate your One Care subscription.
