Why has my One Care Expired? RRS feed

    I purchased the One Care Software at Costco this year. Why have I received a notice that its expired?

  • If you didn't activate with your LiveID and the retail product key, it was in trial mode and would have expired after 90 days.

    However, iIf OneCare has just updated to 2.x or you just activated following a reinstall or install to another  computer and OneCare is urging you to renew and you believe this is incorrect, please do the following:

    1. Verify the PC date and time are correct
    2. Sign in with your subscription LiveID at http://billing.microsoft.com and confirm that your subscription is not due to be renewed in 30 days or less.


    Assuming that both of the above are true, then you are being impacted by a OneCare server side bug that the OneCare team is working to identify and resolve. Please stand by until it is resolved. If you wish to contact support, see the FAQ to do so:
