Thread appears to have malformed HTML/XML causing disruption in display of replies RRS feed

  • Question

  • Something got seriously snafued when I posted the first reply to this thread.

After posting the reply, the screen refreshed but the reply did not display; thus I created the second duplicate reply.

After posting the second reply, the screen refreshed and again did not display my post.

Then I opened the thread in a separate tab and discovered the issue.

Can you please repair the malformed HTML/XML that's affecting this thread?

    Thank you.

  • This just happened a second time with this thread.

But I figured out what's causing it. It's being caused by the inclusion of <li></li> tags as a result of a copy and paste from a document page in the Technet Library.

Unfortunately, I'm only able to edit one of the three malformed posts. (I got dropped into the raw HTML editor -- which normally is an undesirable result -- and was able to remove the <li> and </li> tags.

Can you please fix the other two posts - one in each thread?

    Thank you!

  • Hi Don.

The first thread is still displaying with text outside of the borders in my IE8 browser, but the message has been marked as an Answer by the original poster, suggesting that the thread was displayed properly in at least one other browser.

    The second thread is good.
