Problems with MicrosoftFixit Utility Program: 'We have experienced an unexpected error and cannot continue'. RRS feed

  • Hi:
    Can anyone tell me what is the cause for the MicrosoftFixit Program not being able to finish the scan - Error message: 'We have experienced an unexpected error and cannot continue'.  I'm running VISTA Home Premium on Pentium IV PC, and I was able to run the MicrosoftFixit Program before without any problem (probably BEFORE I installed Service Pack 2 Update).

    NOTE: I have reinstalled the MicrosoftFixit SEVERAL times but it made NO difference.

    An earlier detailed advice how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated...!

  • I have the same error message and reinstalling does nothing.

    Any Help out there.  Is there a MS engineer monitor on this board that could help?
