Sliding Panel pages like Angry Birds Space. RRS feed

  • For this kind of applications,you need to do lots of coding,but to get started i would advice using:

    ScrollViewer

    Rovio spent hours and lots of thousands of dollars to build this game so its not easy to build it.But you can make similar to it.

    To use ScrollViewer like a slider you need to set its property like that:

    HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Visible"

    And dont forget to add a UserControl(wider than ScrollViewer object) inside this ScrollViewer.

    if you need a Sliding Panel with Vertical Position changes automatically,then you need to set VerticalOffset of the ScrollViewer as you like:

    screen1.ScrollToVerticalOffset(500);

    this gives Angry Birds Space like animation to it but you need to write many codings on the background.

  • Which language and UI framework are you using? The details will be different in HTML, Xaml, or DirectX.

    The UI Design for Windows Store apps is for questions about how best to design a Windows Store app's user interface. Please post questions about how to code the app in the appropriate forum for the language you are using.
