Trying to switch my windows live onecare account to my new PC.... RRS feed

  • Trying to switch my windows live onecare account to my new PC and I do not have my original username and password. I have not been able to figure out how to follow the "Path" to get in touch with the MS Support people about this. Very confusing process by the way.

     

    Any help is much appreciated.

  • Yes, it is miserably confusing to reach support. You will need to open an email support case.

    You start here:

    http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=onecarev2&market=en-us

    You then click Contact Support in the lower right hand corner.

    Then click Get support on the refreshed page.

    On the page that opens, select Technical support, "No, this is a new issue" and "On a different computer."

    Select "I
