Windows 7 Professional vs Windows 7 Ultimate and pricing

Question

Is there any real big advantage of Windows 7 Ultimate over Windows 7 Pro. Newegg currently has both of the Full Retail versions with Ultimate edition $10 more than the Professional version I have not found a better price for either from verified (from people on these forums) than the current Newegg prices. If anyone knows of a better legitimate sale price, rebate, price break, whatever, please post Thank you
Newegg current pricing:
MS WDW 7 Professional $264.99

MS WDW 7 Ultimate $274.99

Thank you. Any Help would be greatly appreciated as I need help convincing someone to purchase

There is a disadvantage with Ultimate. Windows 7 Ultimate support ends on Jan 13, 2015 while Windows 7 Professional support will not end until Jan 13, 2020. Unless you need multiligual support or Bitlocker, Ultimate is not a good choice over Pro. Ultimate has not turned out to be what Microsoft first claimed it was going to be when Vista Ultimate was released in 2007. Save your money. The only reason I am running Ultimate is because I was naive enough to think that the grandiose sounding label meant something. I recommend sticking with the business edition of any version of Windows, whether it is called XP Pro, Vista Business, or Windows 7 Pro. Microsoft always gives the business editions the most support.

Thank you Colin. Now I just need to do some convincing....I had no idea how much an OS would be when I first relayed what I needed for a computer system and received the blessing I figured an OS would be about $100 to $150 so when I gave a number and ordered the hardware accordingly, I only left about $100 which includes what I will receive in MIR off the hardware. It's definitely my fault. I should have investigated further rather than by relying on the internet sites like eBay and Tiger Direct, Amazon et al...
As a last resort. if I cannot obtain Windows 7 at this time and I load Windows XP on my new system when it arrives and is built; In your opinion, will Windows 7 come down in price say by the time that XP is no longer supported?

It's unlikely that the price of Win7 will drop much - particularly since Win8 will be out before XP finally goes out of support, so MS will be pushing that instead.
