Problems with Installing on XP

Question
-
I can install Mesh on my XP machine, but it never finishes starting. Then when I restart my machine, the graphics drop down to the lowest setting. 640x480 and 4bit color. I have to uninstall mesh and perform a system restore to get back to normal. Any clues as to what might be the problem?

I sent the email. Live Mesh still won't sign in or start up without error. Hope you find out what went wrong. Thanks, I look forward to using mesh!
Hi,
Are you still having the display problem, or are you encountering new issues (Live Mesh starting not starting, specific error messages)? If you've hit new issues, please let me know so that we can try to help resolve them as well.
Thanks,

Thanks, I will give that a try. Now did you uninstall MESH? Or was reinstalling the video drivers after installing MESH enough to get everything back to working order? ThanksFriday, November 21, 2008 4:59 PM

Hi,
While reinstalling video drivers (you shouldn't need to remove Live Mesh first) may fix the problem, we'd be interested in taking a look at your Live Mesh logs to see if we can determine what causes the problem. If you wouldn't mind, please collect your logs (Start Menu > All Programs > Live Mesh > Collect Live Mesh Logs, which will generate a .cab file on your desktop) and email them to lmprev@microsoft.com. Please reference bug 16570 in your Subject line, and put the title of this forum thread and your forum handle in the email text.
Thank you for helping us test Live Mesh.
