DashBoards in Outlook2007 and Outlook2010 Don't display properly on some machines. RRS feed

  • We have developed few Dashboards in CRM4.0 using SRS2008.

    From some users machines, when accessing the dashboards via Outlook client, the dashboards are condensed to a small box with both horizontal and vertical scrollbars and does not scale to full page of the frame. I cannot resize it either.

    For the same user when the dashboard is accessed from Web Client from same machine (where outlook is installed), It scales fine. 

    This happens randomly for some users, irrespective of OS version, Office Version. I have seen this happening XP SP3 Outlook2010 32 Bit and XP SP3 Outlook2007 32Bit and Win7 Outlook2010. For some with the same machine configuration it works fine.

    Let me know if you have seen this before.

  • You might want to check the version of Internet Explorer on those 'random machines'. You have to remember that IE is highly leverage both in Outlook and the web client.
