Downloaded Action Pack ISO Doesn't Boot RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I hope someone can help as I'm fast coming to the conclusion that the Action Pack and MS Partner membership are a complete waste of money.

We've downloaded SBS 2008 as an ISO from our Action Pack, burned it to DVD and it doesn't boot. It will auto run and the file system looks intact & it was verified when it was burned. We are trying to install on a new server but there seems no way to use this DVD due to the fact that it won't boot.

Has anyone any experience of this or recommendations?

This is the first time we've tried to use any of this downloadable software since losing the Action Pack media by post and it's not looking good. Seriously wondering why we pay out for this each year! Bring back the real media - without the price hike!

There is no support from Microsoft for the use of the Action Pack either, that is why I'm trying here!

    Thanks,

    Clint
