Unresponsive Google Chrome Tile on W8.1 update

  hi,

  I m currently running spring updated version of windows 8.1 professional edition.

  I m currently facing a problem....the google chrome tile appears to be unresponsive.

  whenever I click the tile, the metro ui closes and nothing happens

  it appears as if the program was able to start, which led to closing of metro UI, but  it could not be loaded properly...

  the problem didn't appeared soon after the update...it was when I installed the .net framework 3.5 the problem appeared.

  this problem had also appeared once or twice before the update...but I could not remember how I resolved it...!! :D

  reinstalling Google Chrome would not work...

  along with .net framework 3.5... I had enabled ALL the windows features...
