laptop detected tv but, no audio and video in tv

hi all,
im using dell studio 1555 laptop with windows7 64 bit os. im connecting my laptop to LG HD tv using hdmi cable. laptop detected tv and it shows in display like below. nothing displays in tv.
the tv has 3 hdmi options i tried everywhere but, no luck.
i have another lenovo laptop with windows 7 64 bit, its perfectly working with tv without any changes.
experts can you please help me to resolve this issue?

I agree with Sean and would also recommend that you follow up with LG support to get insight on how this screen should be configured with Windows. (http://www.lg.com and choose Support).
Also this Forum is for developers working with hardware boards to support Windows. For usage support I recommend https://www.bing.com/search?q=HDMI%20Windows%2010 site:answers.microsoft.com

Are there options to display clone or make the TV the main display?
If this is Intel Graphics, do you have the Intel Graphics control panel installed? If you do, can you change the settings from there?
